DIY Room Decor

I love decorating my bedroom into ways I find pretty, I feel it has to describe me and for the longest time one of the walls in my room looked pretty boring. I never paid full attention until my friend pointed out. I had a plain empty bulletin board just hanging on the wall. The idea popped in my head. I decided to decorate my bulletin with the colors that went well with my room theme which are pink, white and a little bit of black. So here is how I created this room decor:
1. Since I love scrapbooking and cardmaking, I already had a bunch of scrap paper, cardstock, ribbons, and stickers. So I just used my crafting tools to make this project. You can buy all these materials from your local craft store.

2. Select the cardstock/ scraps and ribbons ones you want (keeping your color theme in your mind) 3. Get Creative! Take your time to think how you want to set your empty board with, you can cut out flowers, hearts or just simply decorate your cardstock/ scrap paper with some stickers, stamps and ribbons. 4. Map out your bulletin board. start placing them and see if you like it that way.

 5. Once you're done mapping  them out  carefully start hot gluing your cardstock, ribbons any other things you made onto the bulletin board. 6. Let it sit for five minutes, and you're ready to hang your bulletin board wherever you like it to be.

Preppy Girly

Lately I have been so obsessed with Gap shirts, they are so comfy and fun to wear. However some of my friends don't know how to style them. Sometimes its hard to rock plain shirts and make it look stylish. Here's how I styled it: I made my look very preppy, with the cardigan over my shirt. I was also feeling very chic thats why I added my headpiece and necklace and that just adds more fun to this old school preppy look.
Cardigan: The Limited
Yellow Shirt: Gap
Pants: H&M
Purse: Michael Kors
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack
Necklace: Express
Headpiece: Claires

10 minutes step by step makeup look

Hey beauties so recently I was at an event and everyone loved my makeup and asked how I done it. SO I decided why not before I start my Youtube official channel write a blog post on how I created this look, and OMG it took me 10 minutes. It was super easy and simple yet very playful look.

How I created this look?  1. Priming my face with using the L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base.  2. Once my face is all primed up taking my Powder foundation from MAC Studio Fix, I apply that all over my face using a sponge/puff. You may also use a Stippling brush to apply the powder foundation.  3. Now to conceal my dark circles I simply used my MAC Studio Finish Concealer to hide away my dark areas with a concealer brush. 4. Setting my concealer and foundation with elf Translucent Mattifying Powder using a fluffy brush.  5. Now moving to my favorite part that is adding a pop of color to my face. I’m using the Estee Lauder Mauve Mystique blush applying it starting underneath your temples (hairline) bringing it forward to my cheekbones. I applied my blush with an angled brush. 6. Using the Revlon Skin Lights Face Illuminator I’m highlighting my blush, applying it above my cheekbones. I just used my ring finger to apply this, taking just three small dots of the illuminator and blended it above my cheekbones to give a nice highlighted look. I also applied this on the bridge of the nose just to add more glow. 7. Now that I’m all set with my face I’m quickly applying the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadow to my entire eyelid space with a regular eye shadow brush. 8. For my eyeliner I used the L’Oreal 12hr The Super Slim and created a winged eye. 9. Finishing my eye makeup using the Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara by L'Oreal.

 10. Finally finishing my makeup look with my favorite lip color which is Dollhouse Pink by Wet n wild I applied that to my lips, and I was done with my makeup look.   Don't forget to follow me on instagram at @zeezstyle

Eat Yummy While Losing Weight

Hey guys it’s time for another Zee’s dosage of knowledge and this time I'm back with another post about healthy weight loss guide. So let’s get started!

Now I hear many people saying it’s super hard for them to lose weight or maintain healthy weight. One of the reason people say because it’s hard eating healthy giving up junk food. Some also complain about working out since it’s painful and they get tired quickly and I agree it can be hard to eat right to go workout daily. Believe me I been there but after constantly researching of eating something tasteful and still be able to lose weight.  I think I found some healthy slimming foods and yet tasty that worked well for me. Keep in mind losing weight takes effort, time and motivation it’s also a good idea do exercise. Even 30 minutes of cardio helps and remember to eat 5 small meals a day too keeps your metabolism going.

Beans: Kidney beans/white beans have protein and fiber amazing too boost your metabolism. I love them because I find them really tasty I usually make kidney beans with one tablespoon or less using the olive oil and add some salsa and boom I have an amazing tasty recipe ready. Not to mention it has several health benefits. You can eat this for lunch or dinner; you can also eat with a side of brown rice and some protein low fat yogurt.  For recipes info contact me at Zeezstyle@gmail.com

Avocados:  This sucker keeps you full so you don't feel hungry. This also helps kills belly fat by providing fiber and protein. Avocados are amazing to eat as a snack to keep you energized throughout the day.

Eggs:  Filled with protein to control your appetite eggs are great source of protein. They are just yummy way to get your protein of the day. It has 60/70 calories per egg and also are good source of vitamins. I always make my eggs without the yellow yolk egg whites and I pick the organic ones.  To add flavor I always put onions, tomatoes and green peppers that just make it so scrumptious. Eat for breakfast or after workout! For recipes info contact me at Zeezstyle@gmail.com

Salmon: A great way to get lean meat protein, much better than red meat and no extra fat. You may add your own spices eat it with a side of brown rice or alone with vegetable an amazing healthy yummy dinner. I always grill or bake my fish I NEVER FRY IT because again we want to focus on losing weight.

Bananas: GO BANANAS because this fruit is a great tool for your weight loss, it fills you up and kills those sweet tooth cravings that you may have.  Not to mention it boost your metabolism and amazing snack for the day especially if you're craving something sweet.  Eat it for breakfast or anytime of the day you like for healthy snacking.

April Beautiful Basics

April is almost here and perfect time to bring out spring colorful beauty looks. To complete your beauty needs, I will give you some of my personal favorite makeup must haves for this spring season.

Lip Sticks: I love having a pop of color, especially during the spring season. My favorite colors during the April month are Diva by MAC, Heroine by MAC, Penthouse Sweet by Wet and Wild (the Fergie collection) Stoplight Red Feu Rouge by Wet and Wild  and the Wannabe Cream by Lancome. These shades are like my go to colors I love these shades because you don't need too do much with your eyes as these shades pull out a very playful look in my opinion. They are just gorgeous and easy to pull almost any kind of look you desire, you beauties should definitely check them out!

Concealer/ Foundation: I'm always in the hunt for the perfect concealer and I think I found something that really fits me well. Its just super great for hiding my dark circles. Its the one and only MAC Pro LongWear Concealer. This is  always a must have for me for all year round. I have been obsessed with the Covergirl 3in1 Outlast Stay Foundation. it has the SPF 20, primer and foundation itself. It just applies to your skin so beautifully, it blends well and it doesn't look cakey, it gives the natural skin look even though its full coverage.

Blushes, eyeliners and mascaras: I have been in love with the Mauve Mystique Shimmer blush by Estee Lauder. It's such a pretty shimmer pinkish color it adds a very pretty playful color to your tone. I also like the Immortal Flower by MAC I think it's perfect for all year round, it's such a beautiful peachy coral color to always have. I believe you can never go wrong with this shade. When it comes to picking out my eyeliners and mascaras I'm very picky. Since I hate it when eyeliners smudge  and I like the long lasting ones. Few of the eye liners I would suggest are: Double Wear zero smudge by Estee Lauder I have been using it for over a year and its just so amazing. Its very easy to apply it DOESN'T smudge at all, and its long lasting you apply it once and it lasts you forever. My second favorite is the MAC Pro Longwear pencil eyeliner it doesn't smudge either. I always struggled finding the right Mascara since they don't give me the long lashes results or they dry up very quickly. Even though I tried the high end products they still didn't work for me. So what did my lashes justice? The L'oreal Telescopic Mascara. It makes my eyelashes look so big it separates them and it makes my eyes look a whole lot better.

Spring 101 Guide

My most favorite season is here the which is the spring season. It means beautiful colors and the easy breezy weather. However, its hard for some of us when it comes to switching our wardrobe to spring and summer time. So here are my few tips for this SPRING SEASON.

Floral Prints: I absolutely love floral prints I think it is perfect for spring. Floral dresses and pants are my top picks for floral prints. I usually style my floral pants with white and pink shades shirts/tops. You may go light or dark depending on the colors of your floral pants.

I go for lighter shades shirts/tops when i'm pairing them with floral pants  because I pick out bright and colorful pants. When it comes to floral dresses, I don't do much styling with them. I just pair it up with a statement necklace and some cute heels, wedges or flip flops and I'm ready to go!

Skater skirts, maxi skirts: The best way to look spring ready is wearing skirts. My two favorite skirts for this season are the skater and maxi skirts. In my upcoming blogs I shall be showing you a few examples on how you may wear and style them. You can always wear your maxi skirts with a crop top and sweaters like I wore mine in my earlier blog. You may also wear it with a shirt tucked in. Skater skirt always looks good with stockings in my opinion, it just adds more style to your outfit. You can also have your shirt/top over your skater skirt. Remember to pick out playful colors when choosing these skirts.

Bright color blazer with BOYFRIEND JEANS: Oh my God! This is my new obsession, I'm all about comfort and effortless style. Since its spring I think this look is perfect for the spring season, it's so comfy yet stylish. All you need to have is popping color blazers, such as orange, pink, purple and red. Pair it up with your favorite boyfriend jeans with some heels or wedges. Oh and don't forget your chunky necklace to finish off your look.
