THE SAREE FALL

Happy Sunday! Hope all of you are having a great weekend! This summer has been full of Indian and Pakistani (cultural weddings) and a lot of people have asked me to do a look inspired similar to it. An inspiration guide on what to wear to all these festive fun weddings. So the idea of wearing a Saree
(Def: a garment consisting of a long cloth wrapped around the body with one end draped over one shoulder or the head, worn by women chiefly in India. Defined by http://www.thefreedictionary.com/saree) popped up in my mind. I always wanted to wear a Saree ever since I was a little girl and wearing it for the first time felt like a fantasy. I'm so excited to share this look with you all. It's my first time wearing it and my first time partially designing it with the help of my mom. Saree comes in many different fabrics, textures, color combinations and styles (modern, traditional and modest.) When I was designing my Saree I wanted a modern look yet traditionally modest and I came with this piece. Thank you for stopping by and have a great week!

THE CASUAL CHIC

Happy Wednesday lovelies today I was in a mood for wearing something casual. So I went with the white shirt and denim, but I wanted to spice it up so I added a red blazer to my casual outfit and it gave such a chic vibe to it. Sometimes I love being simple and putting my styling skills to a test and see what I can come up with. So this time I came up with a red blazer, golden wedges and, of course, a statement necklace. I simply loved styling these basic pieces and adding a chic twist to it. What are your some favorite basic pieces?

ABOUT THAT COAT

Hey, guys do you remember recently I did a post inspired by the traditional Indian wear? So today I'm back with another Indian Ethnic inspired outfit!! This time I went a little more westernized because I wanted to add more of an American style to my ethnic/eastern inspired outfit. I love the how the long coat makes my whole outfit so ethnic yet westernize. They are many ways to style my coat, you can pair it with black tights, denim or fancy pants. I paired this coat with golden pants to add more of an ethnic look as well as to dress it up. What I love about this coat style piece? Is that I can go fancy, ethic, simple and casual all at the same time. Don't you just love versatile pieces? Have a great weekend lovelies and thanks for stopping by!!

ONCE UPON A RETRO THEME

The weather lately  has been so bipolar and unexpected. It is such a struggle to pick a right balance outfit because either it's really cold or super warm.  This skirt is one of my all time favorite and pairing it with a sweater felt like a dream. I was invited to a modern retro theme  bridal shower and when it came to styling this outfit, I went for the modern retro inspired look. I think the skirt and sweater combo added such a unique and almost a  vintage vibe to my whole look. What do you lovelies think? Have a great weekend!!

PINK FAIRYTALE

Hi, lovelies I know I haven't been blogging as much because I was finishing my semester and with work everything got so crazy. Now that I'm done with my semester I can have finally time to do what I love which is blogging, so I'm really excited to blog more. For today's blog post, I went for the ethnic Indian style outfit. I always get inspire from all the different types of Indian clothing, so I really enjoyed wearing this outfit. I love how ethnic inspired outfits give such a unique look to your style. Styling this look was such a breeze because I didn't have to do much, I just added a pair of heels and my look was complete.
